“ I'm surprised ! We came into byrds thinking it was just an ordinary chicken spot and we were wrong. From the outside it doesn't seem like much there's plenty of parking and no light on the sign the lobby/sitting area has enough room for about 12 people but we got our food to go . I was worried because we were in a bit of a rush and there were only 2 people working the back but they again proved us wrong within 11minutes we were out the door with 5 meals . Ordering was easy they have two machines easy to navigate and pay . We were greeted by the manager who was very kind and asked anyone who looked confused if he could assist . The drinks were self serve which made me happy and they have options from fountain to bottle drinks . I got the mild Nashville my kids got the kids meals and the chicken tender meal ... we must have ate our food in 5 minutes it was so good ! My sandwich wasn't too spicy super fresh the slaw was a perfect compliment and I added extra pickles and my fries were fresh and great the mild sauce was sooooo good . 10/10 from the service to doos! ”

“ I wish I could give this place 10 stars! I'd say top 3 for chicken sandwiches I've ever had! Worth every penny! Seasoned perfectly ( I had mild and it was just the right heat) don't get me started on their 24K sauce! That is next level! Side note, I also got the grilled cheese... so delicious! And the fries were cooked perfectly! We were served by the owner, the pride he took showed in his service and quality of food. I highly recommend this place ”

“ Pros: Modern, Vegetarian friendly, Customizable, Flavorful food, accommodating staff Cons: No Public restroom, a little pricy (as most chicken places are), limited seating Loved the variety on the menu as I'm vegetarian and my boyfriend isn't. I was able to substitute for a vegan chick'n sand which while he got the Nashville hot sandwich. Do be mindful that their specialty is chicken TENDERS. So for his Nashville hot sandwich it came with a tender instead of the usual chicken breast that most chicken restaurants use for sandwiches. We were a little disappointed with the chicken ratio in the sandwich since we were expecting a larger portion and not a Tender. However, the owner was kind enough to add an extra tender and commented on how we received an unusually small piece and it should have been bigger. As for flavor and taste my boyfriend said the chicken was really flavorful and tasty and the sandwich was good. When you order on the kiosk each sandwich is VERY customizable which I loved. As for the restaurant itself it is very modern and updated. However, there is no public restroom available. The closest free restroom is going to be the Walgreens across the street or there is a pizza spot in the same shopping center as Byrd's but they have a purchase minimum to use it. ”

“ Juicy halal chicken sandwich!! Full of flavor, perfect balance of seasoning/spice and the chicken wasn't dry . I got the hot spice level and it was just right. The number one comes with two sides and i chose the potato salad and French fries. (These were the two options that were not an additional charge) the inside is small with a few tables lining the sides of the counter. All orders are placed on a kiosk and staff members call out your name when your order is ready. Overall, it's your standard hot chicken spot, except this chicken is high quality. For a quick bite this was So Good!! ”

“ Hot chicken done right! This was such a random stop for us, but so glad we did it. It's in small strip mall, walking distance from Disneyland, so I can see how this chicken spot is a popular choice especially for late night eats, especially because it's opened until midnight! We ordered the donut & chicken combo and the two tender combo with mild and medium spice. Mild definitely has a kick! My husband really liked the donut and tender combo, although skeptic at first. Glazed donut which had a bit of char on both sides and nestled was a meaty medium spice tender. The flavor combo was perfect. All of the chicken was really delicious, not dry and a great portion. The mac and cheese was also really tasty and flavorful. We loved the crispy and hot crinkle cut fries that had a dusting of spice too. Although, personally, I probably would ask for no spice on the fries next time. It was just too much for me with the spicy chicken too. But their dipping sauce was so fantastic and completed the meal alongside their crunchy pickle slices. Would definitely come here again if we're in the area! Note, it's a tight spot, not many tables or chairs inside, and parking may or may not be a problem depending on how busy it is. But the ordering process from their kiosk was easy! ”
